Washington, D.C. (February 17, 2010) – Nancy Zimpher, chancellor of the State University of New York (SUNY), will address the need to restructure teacher preparation to improve student learning, at the ÃÈÃÃÉç (ÃÈÃÃÉç) Annual Meeting & Exhibits on Sunday, February 21, in Atlanta.
Zimpher is nationally recognized for leading change in higher education. She currently co-chairs an initiative to transform teaching into a practice-based profession, a redesign that could have far-reaching effects on schools of education.
