State Affiliate Organizations
State-level advocacy occurs primarily through ÃÈÃÃÉç’s network of affiliated state organizations. ÃÈÃÃÉç has a relationship with 38 state associations of colleges for teacher education. ÃÈÃÃÉç collaborates with these organizations to strengthen collective advocacy efforts, share experience and expertise, and expand members’ professional development opportunities. ÃÈÃÃÉç’s relationship with these organizations is a voluntary mutual affiliation that advances members’ interests.
Advisory Council of State Representatives
Leaders from state ÃÈÃÃÉç affiliate organizations comprise the Advisory Council of State Representatives (ACSR). The primary purpose of ACSR is to serve as a collaborative network for state association leaders across the nation and to represent state-level perspectives in ÃÈÃÃÉç activities as well as help identify important issues for ÃÈÃÃÉç to monitor and manage.
ACSR elects an Executive Committee which convenes the state associations and manages programming to develop state association organizational capacity and policy advocacy.
