(Feb. 2, 2017, Washington, D.C.) – The (ÃÈÃÃÉç) is pleased to announce the 2017 recipients of its annual awards for best practice, professional achievement and writing and research. The following universities and individuals will be honored during ÃÈÃÃÉç’s 69th Annual Meeting in Tampa, Fla., March 2-4:

James Hiebert, University of Delaware – - Outstanding Book Award
Eva Zygmunt and Patricia Clark, Transforming Teacher Education for Social Justice (Teachers College Press, 2015) – - Outstanding Journal of Teacher Education Article Award
Anna Lees, Western Washington University, “The Roles of Urban Indigenous Community Members in Collaborative Field-Based Teacher Preparation” (November /December 2016) – - Outstanding Dissertation Award
Sarah A. Nagro, George Mason University, The Effects of Guided Video Analysis on Teacher Candidates’ Reflective Ability and Instructional Skills(completed at Johns Hopkins University under the advisement of Professor Laurie deBettencourt) –
